Star is a plethora of old Brunk breeding and was shown as a weanling/yearling to some nice ribbons with her young show career cut short by the closing of her owner's farm. Roman Stumpf then bought her to perform various farm chores and to entertain grandchildren. We purchased Star from Roman as a 10 year old mare and at the age of 13 she resumed her show career, this time in the performance arena. Her first and only show, she was shown in carriage and riding dressage with a driver that had taken a handful of lessons. Star guided her driver to some very impressive placings and scores and her riding dressage scores actually increased as the tests became more difficult. This mare is worth her weight in gold! She has produced two very nice fillies and is hopefully destined for at least one more before she is offered for sale - a super child’s horse!
